i'm running ubuntu 8.04 lts on intel pentium 4 dell desktop system. after performing normal upgrade 2.6.24-25-generic 2.6.24-26-generic "error 2: bad file or directory type" upon bootup. grub menu pops , can manually boot version (-25) no problem... thought problem might go away subsequent upgrade 2.6.24.27-generic, same error, , i'm able manually boot -25 or earlier version menu.. steps should performing diagnose , correct issue.. -mike sometimes error 2 caused corrupted kernel , have reinstall kernel. it's unlikely 2 different kernels got corrupted. let's have better @ setup. follow these instruction run boot info script , post results.txt. i have large, complex 8266 application implements custom mesh-like network tree-like structure of nodes.  there top-level ap+sta node connects tp-link router.  node has several other 8266s, in ap+sta mode, connected it.  each of nodes has number of 8266 sta-onlly nodes connected them.  nodes running exact same firmware, difference being ssids , passwords use, , ip addresses.  hard ips used everywhere except connection tp-link network, , communications between nodes via udp packets sent between directly-connected nodes. this works great, except getting initial sta connections between 8266s going.  top-level node connects tp-link fine.  others connect if nodes started in correct order.  if reset nodes @ once, or first top-level node, 2 intermediary nodes connect it, lowest-level nodes, well.  but, if reset of intermediary or lowest-level nodes, will, in cases, never re-connect, despite having auto-connect , auto-reconnect enabled.  acts each node allowed connect 1 time, , never

i have project contains 2 long (70 min.) clips.  each time open project, premiere conforms audio both clips.  save project, close premiere, open right , starts conforming audio again. i have tried changing premiere stores audio preview files, no matter do, premiere puts .cfa files wants. i have 8 versions of same .cfa files - , next time open premiere, i'll have 9.   any appreciated! tell more settings, since can't replicate problems. is there way speed scrolling faster 1 line @ time?  presently, can scroll @ 1 line per click.  have tried change speed in software mouse, , has no effect on adobe reader.  mine version 9.  when reading large documents @ erratic reading speeds, solution speed scrolling.  auto scrolling provides no here.  suggestions?  thanks. i experiencing same problem acrobat pro 7. far behavior seems limited older documents created in pdf version 1.2 (acrobat 3.x). haven't found solution, have discovered turning automatic scrolling on , off (view>automaticall scroll or shift+ctrl+h) temporarily solves problem, visible document.   if find better solution, please post here. in brief, i'd remove (and not replace!) internal hard drive. although sounds painfully easy, have had no luck in doing so, or finding answer in many hours of googling , reading (and tinkering). looking set of commands and/or files modify remove internal drive. using fresh install of 9.10 server - i386/32 bit. (i using default grub2.) fyi, drive mounted /dev/sdf1. formatted xfs; uses lvm(2). promising things i've tried: * modified /etc/fstab, commenting out drive * umount /dev/sdf1 then: 1) turn off machine, unplug drive. 2) restart machine; invariably boot hangs (immediately after hardware initializations) @ "grub loading". other efforts: * booted live cd, tinkered system options (went console; tried chrooting in , performing update-grub drive removed etc.) feedback appreciated! in advance, -sonic more information? other drives/partitions have you? root, home etc

bonjour, j'ai un relais (télérupteur) qui commande une lumière via plusieurs boutons poussoirs. j'aimerais rajouter un arduino uno avec quelques interrupteur temporaire qui serait enclenché par le témoin du relais : relais position on  > contact > timer 5-10minutes  si relais off > rien  si relais on (au bout de 5-10m) > moteur qui tourne pour faire basculer le relais > relais off > moteur off je sais que je pourrais directement modifier le télérupteur et mettre un relais 5v 10a@230v mais je n'ai pas envie de modifier mon install électrique j'ai ce genre d'inter  (en pj) et je compte utiliser un moteur ou servo sur une roue pour faire basculer le relais. je débute en arduino et je ne sais pas trop par ou commencer dans les branchement/code. si vous avez des pistes ou des projet similaire dans l'esprit bricolage, j'aime bien l'interrupteur fin de course (s-l300.jpg)   mais ce n'est pas très pro je trou

hola. llevo menos de 1 mes en el mundo de arduino. conseguí usar correctamente la placa gps gy-neo-6m-v2 y la placa gsm sim800l en arduino uno. intento usar los códigos de arduino uno en arduino mega con los cambios en los seriales y no consigo hacer funcionar ninguno de los 2. os cuento solo el gps. la placa gps la tengo conectado al serial2 en los pines 19 (rx) y 18 (tx). también probado cambiando los pines y cambiando otros seriales con el mismo resultado, además lo tengo conectado 5v y tierra. con arduino uno, me funciona la perfección cualquiera de los ejemplos que vienen con la librería tinygps. sin embargo con arduino mega no funciona. creo que hay algo que estoy haciendo mal. ¿hay algo que tenga que tener en cuenta la hora de pasar el código de arduino uno arduino mega, además de usar los seriales en lugar de softwareserial? muchas gracias. codigo arduino uno. funciona correctamente. #include <softwareserial.h> #include <tinygps.h> tinygps gps; softwareser
