Installation of Joomla 1.5 - failing - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have downloaded wamp5 , stopped local iis can use local computer using joomla. extraction of joomla put c:\wamp\www\joomla folder. installation directions have says go browser , type in http://localhost/joomla install joomla browser (firefox) gives

you have chosen open

which application/octet-stream
what want firefox --- gives choice of saving disk or  choosing open

(i not screen snap  work - sorry)

if type in browser http://localhost/phpinfo -- works, or index.php www works ... missing?

why aren't using iis server run joomla with?
it easier...
if have iis install php5 , mysql , run joomla...

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe
