alright, here problem.
love learning new things, image manipulation , creating things. figured give blender try. instillation success, when tried run it, wouldn't "opening blender" in applications bar, , screen flicker, , never open. tried installing through website, through synaptic, through terminal, , software center (i know same thing on figured why not) anyway, i've looked answer not find one. know wrong, or how can fix it?
thank if can help, has answer , can continue on learning path.

i'm running karmic clarification.

try running blender terminal, , see if errors reported.

Error compiling for board Arduino/Genuino Uno.
