Installing Entire CS4 Design Premium

hi, have 3 dvd's in student edition.

 

content

application 2

learning/help dvd

 

my issue when place application 2 dvd in computer, not go auto install.  in documentation says to

insert dvd in drive, , follow on-screen instructions. if installer not launch automatically, navigate adobe cs4 folder found @ root level on disk , double-click setup.exe start installation process.

so go through folders in order

 

adobe cs4>extensions>a bunch of different folders

adobe cs4>payloads>flash/ai/aid/ap - there no more folders?

 

there no setup.exe found.  begining wonder if here?

 

i have never had issues installing software.  tried call tech support closed.

 

any help?

hi, there possibly 2 ways check this.

 

instead of looking other folders, should going 'root folder' backwards, not forwards.

 

for example, c:\

 

or, can check inserting dvds , looking @ them in computer. don't let them start, @ disk files , see if can see exe file on them. should know installing , ask find exe file.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe
