Power source for Arduino and steppers
i looking find out best way power arduino uno 3 nema 11 stepper motors using drv8825 drivers.
is there way give power drivers , arduino board same power source or have separate?
the project working on requires stepper motors moving, not fixed spot, hoping need 1 power source 1 power cable has move.
also voltage/amperage of power source recommended? - motors rated @ 0.67a each.
thanks!

stepper motors work better higher voltages - subject limitations of stepper driver.
i suggest choose suitable power supply motors , arrange drop voltage suitable arduino. simplest thing may use 7805 voltage regulator , feed arduino through 5v pin.
to figure out power supply amperage stepper motors should calculate power (watts) required motors , make sure power supply can comfortably meet - perhaps factor of two. (note volts * amps = watts)
