a4988 adjusting current
hello,
so have 28byj-48 (5 volts) stepper motor converted bipolar guide
http://www.electronicsmayhem.com/?p=13
1. after converting bipolar right use 10-12v dc ?
2. how can calculate current adjust on a4988 driver ?
here 28byj-48 unipolar characteristics
thank you

thank you
actually ~7v (5 x sqrt(2)), since power dissipation limiting factor normally, v^2/r should remain same
and you've doubled r. note give sqrt(2) times more torque.
measure original current, divide sqrt(2)...
