Get and Set states on a PC application

hi - first post.

i'm on forum find out if possible - haven't started looking it.

i want able , set states on application running on pc - have c++ commands or set application running don't know if possible via arduino.

the idea able press button connected arduino set state of pc application - in background arduino polling pc application state changes. depending on state set led colour.

thanks in advance , sorry newbie approach.

use regular serial/usb communication send commands , forth.

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

Error compiling for board Arduino/Genuino Uno.
