calling my flashvar and assigning it to an xml
i'm trying call flashvar , load in xml.
but i'm getting error:
typeerror: error #2007: parameter url must non-null.
@ flash.net::urlstream/load()
@ flash.net::urlloader/load()
@ test_3d_fla::maintimeline/frame1()
here code on loading flashvar
var xmlfilepath:string = root.loaderinfo.parameters.xmlfile; //i loaded flashvar here..
//we save loaded xml variable
var xml:xml;
//load xml file.
var loader = new urlloader();
loader.load(new urlrequest(xmlfilepath));
//we call function xmlloaded() when loading complete.
loader.addeventlistener(event.complete, xmlloaded);
i know i've embedded flashvars correctly..
thank much.
here's how embedded in html:
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=10,0,0,0" width="800" height="600" id="test_3d" align="middle">
<param name="allowscriptaccess" value="samedomain" />
<param name="allowfullscreen" value="false" />
<param name="movie" value="test_3d.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" />
<param name="flashvars" value="xmlfile=3d-carousel-settings.xml" />
<embed src="test_3d.swf" flashvars="xmlfile=3d-carousel-settings.xml" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="800" height="600" name="test_3d" align="middle" allowscriptaccess="samedomain" allowfullscreen="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer" />
</object>
have tried display content of xmlfilepath after assigning root.loaderinfo.parameters.xmlfile it?
the error message indicates, value null. maybe "-" characters in url problem?
