industrial sensor with arduino
hi
i new arduino , happy if me read value of photoelectric sensor. university project planning buy sensor: http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/150000-174999/155921-da-01-ml-reflex_lichtschr_sn_2000mm_de_en_fr.pdf
and supply 24v. want read analog signal sensor using analog pin a0. problem analog input pin voltage should limited 5v. thought of voltage divider have no experience it. please take @ attached photo , tell me whether work?
thanks in advance

you have drawn sensor 3 wires, red, blue , black. think have exchanged blue , black. according datasheet, blue wire of sensor gnd , black wire output signal.
the arduino gnd must connected sensor gnd.
why use 24v, sensor run fine 12v.
i think sensor outputs digial signal, therefor need digital input.
the 2k2 , 10k okay. may use higher values.
the arduino uno requires @ least 3.0v solid digital high signal.
edit: had calculations voltage divider wrong, removed now.
