CS4 installation ERROR!

trying install cs4 trial adobe. system meets requirements (and some).

 

no viruses, trojans, bots or other malware on machine. checked driver updates, windows updates etc.

 

i keep getting critical error when trying install. last few lines of install log:

hugh???

there reports of av programs blocking installation process.

also hidden instances of internet explorer. (check task manager > processes.)

 

 

was there previous installation or attempted installation of trial?

 

what os version have? logged on administrator?
