installation error: Error launching installer

hi.

i have problem installing arduino software. when start installer error message: error launching installer.

i had arduino software installed in computer , uninstalled before downloading current arduino software , trying install (and getting error message).

can tell me how solve error message?

technical information:
os: windows 10 (64-bit)
arduino version: 1.8.5

please run program arduino_debug.exe, located in arduino ide installation folder, command line , post full output printed there after launch fails here using code tags (</> button on toolbar).

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe
