Thread: Accidentally Deleted Ubuntu Partition. Help!!!

hey reinstalling windows on pc when realized accidentally deleted ubuntu root partition. fortunately realized during partitioning part of installation , aborted installation before wrote data disk. have heard can recover data deleted partition using tool called testdisk. never had data recovery until i'll need using testdisk. had important data on partition need retrieve answer asap appreciated.

comp specs

ubuntu 9.10 64-bit
1 tb hard drive
amd phenom ii x4
4 gb ram

i didn't entirely means stopping before. if stopped before writing how can deleted? , viceversa if partition disappeared how didn't write anything?

i installed "!joomlacomment 3.1.0" comp., ok, disappeared. in comp. administration alright. ok, tried install comment comp., instalation successfull, there no changes, mean, no new comp.. no new comp. -after install @ article bottom must comment form, there empty place. joomla not respond or mambot or this. ok tried another, , etc. , same no changes. tried instal same comp joomla (same version), check comp working, , good. i think had done, dont know what... in codes changed read_more variable image.. , it`s all.. please me if can  Board index Joomla! allora ragazzi per prima cosa saluto questa nuova e splendida board. ho delle domande importantissime da farvi, speriamo che le vostre risposte possano risolvere miei dubbi. dunque: 1) sulla base di un sito formato grafico (jpg, gif o altro) come posso ben associare joomla ad esso? cioè, credo che devo scrivere un template personale, posso quindi partire dalla normale struttura html? e quali saranno quindi collegamenti ipertestuali delle varie sezioni?...
