layer style

hi,

 

i added drop shadow layer layer style function.  did [can't remember what] gray out layer style eye.

 

i double clicked on eye bring various layer style functions.  when added check drop shadow, shadow no longer shows on layer image.  i've tried work no luck.

 

any idea need make work again?

click left of "effects" above "drop shadow" in layers panel. has own visibility eye icon. or right click on layer "fx" right of layer , select enable layer effects.

 

don't double click on eyes. click them once turn them off, once turn them on. double-click right of layer name, or on word "effects", "drop shadow" or other effect name bring layer styles.
