InDesign, Acrobat CS3 will not print.

help! neither indesign cs3 nor acrobat 8 print @ g5 ppc canon 9000
acrobat never has, indesign did until recently. incidentally, indesign cs2 print, though can't open cs3 documents.

all other cs3 programs print properly, , preview print acrobat docs.

print monitor says printing shimmering progress bar no output.

apologies if following sounds bit basic, perhaps printer struggling data. in print dialogue window, choose 'graphics' , try these settings:

images - send data: optimised subsampling

fonts - download: subset

postscript: (choose level 2 or 3 match printer's driver/rip)

data format: binary

 

or try printing 1 page @ time. no harm in trying.
