joomla pre-installation screen showing incorrect php version?

release version: 1.5 rc4

system information: php 5.2.5 , apache 2.2.6, mysql 5.0.45

os: windows xp

i trying install joomla on localhost. problem facing mysql support, set “no”. tried different solution , problem remains. finally, found out joomla giving me wrong version of php @ top of pre-installation page. shows have php 4.3.1 while installed php 5.2.5. have never downloaded or installed other php version on machine, new one. believe incorrect version reading main reason behind mysql problem. question how can make joomla check right version of php? wonder if have faced problem before , solved it.  following images shows mean.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe
