Timeouts on Wemos mega 2560

hi,

i've prototyped project working external esp-01 (in voltage convertor/support module).  have got several prototypes runnings esp modules on several different @ firmwares

to try make project more compact have tried wemos mega 2560 (with onboard 32mbit flash) reflashed latest @ command set.

the project has basic web pages , emails, dweets , ifttts, , syncs clock ntp.

basically works fine on prototypes external esp-01 significant web or internet client operation flaky hit , miss whether works or timeouts on wemos.

i've tried changing timeout values in library , various baud rates

as far can see trace debug timeouts being detected within library.

i'm using wifiesp-master library.  wifi signal being reported.

any ideas of other things try appreciated.

anyone got ideas? (i've ordered second wemos board try rule out hardware issue).

i cannot see code must quite sure it's hardware issue.

you're nebulous flaky behavior. please explain, notice , in situations happens. how did rule out other side of communication source of problem?
