Merged CHM files - Global search does not work

we have created merged html project using rh7. output in chm format. when use search tab in merged chm file (parent chm file), parent chm file topics searched. child chm file topics not searched. search results parent chm file.

however, when open of child projects separately, can use search tab find word , matching results. these results never listed while searching global merged chm file.

should 1 of files in rh project manually tweaked? considered deleting cpd files did not help. global xpj file seems okay when opened notepad. listed right paths child chm files. hhp file tried edit not - hhp showed absolute paths, renamed relative paths. when regenerate chm files, hhp re-created absolute paths , there’s no way can control it. (although not sure if that’s real problem).

 

the toc seems okay though- can see items of global , child chm tocs listed , navigate without problem.
