Audition won't start after configuring ASIO drivers

i installed trial version of audition 3.0 , ran until set use asio drivers have installed pro tools.  audition , pro tools fail launch , ie won't start unless re-boot , use first.  i'm using digidesign asio drivers mbox.  i've uninstalled drivers same result.  un-intalled audition , of course when re-installing trial product thinks past eh expiration date (installed yesterday first time).

we've been here before - if wasn't biased, i'd still ditch protools, based on irrefutable evidence. so-called 'drivers' work hardware, , pt in general works own hardware too. can't uninstall , reinstall trial version of audition , have work, far know - , protection scheme extremely devious , extensive - there no fixes @ - possible exception of reformatting hard disk. no, not wiping, reformatting it.

 

audition , pt don't mix. pt inferior product (certainly in terms of hardware) , manufacturers use protectionist schemes interfere else audio on machine, seem. if can find universal fix this, whole world's waiting - not holding breath.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe
