Thread: Epson Pro4000 printer, which Linux Distribution to Use?


hello all.

trying install drivers both epson 3800 , 4000 printers dealing 3800 first there linux drivers out there new linux , need adapting avasys pro 3800 package.

url http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/ink/dl2.do , epson 3800 printer.

problem don't seem see 1 distribution ubuntu 9.10 (which running).

there:
1. fedora core
2. fedora core 5
3. mandriva 2006
4. redhat 9
5. suse linux 10.1
6. suse linux 9.2
7. turbolinux 10 desktop
8. turbolinux 11

there installation files, source files , installation method.

try follow installation method fedoar core 2 can't anywhere. instructions appear indicate these sources should compilable vagarious linux flavours.

know there quite few digital printers equipment need successful installation package localized ubuntu. hopefully, helps me helps them.

feel challenged enough me fight through this? on aside, absolutely love version of ubuntu , want migrate away xp professional printing needs.
