System Info in Joomla shows 'xxxxxx' as password ? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

a morning all,

after reading through security items, have found solutions protecting site , have not been hacked since 1st of january. yeaaaaaah !

i helping out on joomla site local basketbal team , discussed security settings joomla.

when checked system info yesterday, surprised see following :
$mosconfig_caching = '0';
$mosconfig_db = 'xxxxxx'
$mosconfig_dbprefix = 'jos_';

xxxx ? on server, see password !
when asked administrator set joomla, not tell me why or how did it, has server setting ?

so how possible ?

superadmins can see password, while admins can't, far remember.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe
