Thread: hg216D HDMI monitor resolution issue

i installed 9.10 on hp pavillion a171on , monitor hg216d hdmi. monitor displays up 1680x1050 resolution have 800x600 resolution available display screwed up. how can fix that.

look in system --> administration --> hardware drivers see if there third-party driver available display hardware. if so, install it.

otherwise, in system --> preferences --> display. see if detect display monitor. if does, can change resolution better.

if these steps don't help, might have driver problem display adapter. if think case, in terminal window, enter command

sudo lshw -c display

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe
