Carrying image adjustments to sidecar file

q1:  in lr v1, there setting make sure changes made photograph reflected both in catalog file , sidecar file. in lr v2, can't find setting make sure sure sidecar files reflect changes, although appears happening anyway.

 

     setting in lr 2?

 

q2:  i'd change naming convention on series of files downloaded hard disk , imported file room.   instance: _8886.cr2 should "capture date"-8886.cr2.  there way in batch?

i prefer via save command, time time. there's setting in prefs autowrite changes sidecars, may slow down overall processing speed. rely on backups overall, of catalog , images rather write out files, unless archiving.

 

batch renaming in lr pretty easy, , can create custom templates well.

Error compiling for board Arduino/Genuino Uno.
