Audio problems with long presentation

i have client trying out.  keeps recording 26 slide presenation ends being hour long.  1 or 2 things keep happening:

 

1. presenter crashed when clicks ok @ end.

2. presenter doesn't crash, when goes publish, there no audio.

 

we've uninstalled , reinstalled presenter 7 couple times.  when short test file, 3 5 slides, 3 minutes long, works fine.

 

she using year old dell laptop 2 gb of ram , 160 gb hard drive.

couple of suggestions only, not solutions.

 

1. didn't say, not record in presenter. use shareware/freeware program audacity-it's nifty little program tons of features. have benefit of having files stored in event of crash either wav or mp3 files.

 

2. once record in audacity, should delete , needlessly empty spaces in audio tracks. file size matters. hour running time suggest trimming run time as possible. 30 min if possible.

 

3. make , audio edits in audacity-not presenter. when audio should be, synch animations.
