New at this, I had photos and used tags then created a catalog now cant find tags

i moved pictures external hard drive. tagged , did not use catalogs. trying set default locations of old pictures new external drive.  in process thought maybe should create catalog.  ooops.  cant see tags.  can photos if explore windows , double click.  tried remove catalog manually through windows , when bring photoshop tells me catalog.psa not found want create new one. , can't browse photos, tags not there nothing.  know files not gone, because can find them through windows.  ideas?  photoshop elements 4.0.

i'm afraid don't understand did. how did create tags before used catalogs? how , why did create catalog? why creating catalog "ooops"? can understand giving more complete descriptions happened ... "ooops" doesn't convey meaning. why did delete catalog, , did expect happen after deleted catalog?

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe
