Thread: crack encfs password?

hi! have lost encfs-cd password, or have search more, if remember length of password , more or less characters had, possible crack password , program it?

if aes cannot use john? try brute force app. remember part of password not all. prog. can put many known letters, numbers? made encfs disk in feisty. interested if open still in karmic (username same, don't know if encfs version affects). installed encfs on karmic & have old encfs5 file. perhaps make bash script tries list of old passwords, more complex not easy me.
