hi all, we've decided use joomla upcoming social network website. have partner proficient php , web development, , confident can work joomla. i, however, need myself speed asap. my computing experience: expert in business software such ms office apps (consultant , advanced-level instructor ten years); basic script writing i.e. bat files, vb macros, javascript , html. unfortunately, i'm total noob when comes php , advanced website design (i'm still using frontpage because haven't found time yet learn dreamweaver). can see, i've got lot of work ahead of me proficient enough useful. can suggest tutorials, manuals, etc. me @ least beginner's level joomla? any help, suggestions, etc. appreciated. a great book has been out awhile still applies 1.5 beginning joomla! : novice professional dan rahmel. barry north of joomlashack.com has new book out have glanced through in store. i have photoshop elements 6.0, bought last year , untill now, it´s ok. i´m beginning working .raw files, i can´t save them .jpg after modified them "camera raw" software. can save pictures in .dng . ¿could please tell me how save .jpg? i consider basical function wich, example, photoshop cs3 does. bye. when have finished in acr , go open image in editor have 2 options, set option box @ bottom of acr window.  can either exit 16bit or 8bit image.   jpeg supports 8bit image format, check option in acr , ensure have 8bit select.   it's possible in editor change 16bit 8 bit mode....not vice versa.   also in editor may have added layers , jpeg format not support layers.   colin More discussions in Photoshop Elements adobe

i have been working on getting external install boot on macbook 4,1. have followed tutorial shown here . far have been able install ubuntu partition on harddrive , appears proper configuration of grub boot partition. problem occurs after execute menu entry in grub , proceeds boot process. after screen of text scrolls down, process hangs , couple errors. error referring checking battery status. however, last time attempted boot received errors similar this: usb_id [831]: unable access '/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1a.0/usb3/3-1/3-1:1.1/input/input6/event6' and [216.049852: i/o error, dev sdb, sector 1569427 ...buffer i/o error on device sdb4, logical block 174089 "echo 0> /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout-secs" disables message. these errors display slight variation, i'm dealing with. not sure start problem since relatively new @ , not understand causing this. the t...
