hello, i looking menu module joomla 1.5 - there out there? or alternatively, trying have images instead of text displayed in main menu - when select image option in mod_mainmenu puts image top or left of it. rather looking image in background or no-text displayed. thanks! image in background can set in template. in other cases i've posted today, can setup "module class suffix" (it seems feature know :-)) menu , update template css accordingly. Cross-references: Framemaker to ID CS4

my org converting large technical document, loaded cross references , index markers , conditional text, cs4. on windows xp. we used process conversion: 1. saved files in framemaker 8, .mif file type 2. brought files through "dtp tools mif filter" 3. saved id we understand cross references , index markers need total replacment. however, files tend crash when opened, or when attempt edit or insert cross-references. did notice rthe coversion brough on objects small colons (:) appear in blue text symbols on. files seem crash less when thse removed, not totally fix problem. we know if: -anyone else has come accross issue in framemaker indesign conversion, technical, complex document. -anyone knows how search out , remove colon-like objects ('find' feature not trick). -anyone knows of @ adobe skilled @ both framemaker , indesign can troubleshoot. thanks in advance! you need careful "hanging cross-references" in indesign. make program very fragile! you

hi all we trying workaround poor wordspacing in 1 of our corporate typefaces. ideally have happen everytime create text using particular typeface, wordspacing set min 100%, desired 120%, max 150%. creating style sheet others being based on not fit bill cumbersome our jr. staff implement consistently. is there way this? thanks matt i'm pretty sure correct approach open font in fonteditor , generate new metrics font. if want script this, please start letting ppl know version of indesign , os running. Cannot get IE8 and FlashPlayer10 to get along

while using internet explorer 6 never had issues flash player. wasn't aware there. after installing new internet explorer 8 began getting more computer freezes can ever remember having. happened whenever came website wanted use flashplayer though installed. had hit computer reset button many times. with ie8 installed went through different instructions on adobe website. downloaded uninstaller , tried no luck. downloaded subinacl tool microsoft , reset_fp10.zip file adobe , tried according instructions. still no results. i tried manually adjust registry permissions according technote tn_19148. no results i removed ie8 , runs fine. ie8. ideas. thanks, steve hi name’s feran , working internet explorer outreach team provide assistance folks internet explorer. i recommend reinstalling flash. also, in ie8 go tools manage add-ons see if enabled or disabled. let me know if works you, feran More discussions in Using Flash Player adobe

Output the same size as the cropped video - to Quicktime

i have cropoped , resized video , want export quicktime same cropped size. i have tried follow instructions @ link, using the crop button. followed instructions: " to crop image interactively, drag sides or corner handles of crop box around source image." http://help.adobe.com/en_us/premierepro/4.0/ws877fe27e-dde6-4c35-9158-d1e1f5deeef2.html however, don't see "change output size automatically set frame height , frame width of output height , width of cropped frame". using cs4 , exporting quicktime 32 bit export. so instead of doing crop exporting @ 1440 x 1080. is possible crop , export quicktime? thanks rowby to further explain -- the crop setting in export setting dialog box gives me 2 drop down options: scale fit black borders "change output size" greyed out -- though have image cropped in export settings "source" tab. exporting quicktime/animation/32 bit and in export settings video settings width

Captivate 4 can't publish or preview files/sound layers appear black

Air Installer fails silently on Ubuntu 8.10

running adobeairinstaller.bin fails silently. trying install uptodate ubuntu 8.10 intrepid running on 800mhz amd 500mb of memory , loads of disk space. have working flash 10.0 r22 installed. i have done following: chmod 755 adobeairinstaller.bin ./adobeairinstaller.bin there 10 second delay followed brief flash of terminal window title bar. 2 seconds later installer exits. nothing else happens i have tried following: sudo ./adobeairinstaller.bin ./adobeairinstaller.bin -silent results in: adobe air not installed installing version 1.5.1.8210 touch .airinstall.log , .airappinstall.log both files 0 length after repeated ./adobeairinstaller.bin are there dependancies? missing ubuntu installation? what else can try? tia More discussions in Archived Spaces adobe

i trying out several versions of ubuntu live cds on dell gx270 (pentuim 4 2.8 ghz). on weekend copied failing (windows) drive neighbor on same system using 512 mb memory 2x256 pc2700 dimms. worked fine including installing ubuntu computer , using copy partition skipping 5 unreadable files. returned new drive neighbor both windows xp , ubuntu installed it. today decided upgrade memory using spare 1gb pc3200 dimm 1 of 256mb pc2700 dimms. gx270 has 2 memory slots. ran xp on machine , did number of things on few hours without issue. wanted backup xp partition booted clonezilla , booted text/graphical progress screen garbled , failed error destination drive full not possible copying 20 gb partition drive 700 gb free. booted same ubuntu 9.10 live cd had used day before , made kde desktop experienced number of issues not consistent on each try: (a) double click on install spin cd drive nothing. (b) firefox experienced crash. (c) screen asked password

Does premiere pro 4.0 not have export to movie option? The export choice is media. Can I export directly to an AVI format or do I have to use the Encoder.

i importing hdv 1080i footage , trying export dvd burn. export choices on premiere pro 4.0 media, omf, , edl. shouldn't there export movie option? when try use encoder through media choice, encoder either won't finish task, freezes right @ end, or if use smaller clip, creates format idvd won't accept. don't know how dvd. suggestions? i using mac os/x, have canon hv20, have tried shooting in several formats , have experienced problem in final cut pro banding occurring when objects move. use premiere, there no banding problem, exporting problem. thanks suggestions. welcome forums. you have use encoder, supports avi, on windows platform. why using avi on mac platform? for dvd options, see: exporting dvd, blu-ray disc, or cd in ppro help. you find links many free tutorials in premierepropedia show how things done in premiere pro. cheers eddie More discussions in Premiere Pro CC adobe

i'd change default setting in illustrator strokes aligned on inside of path opposed factory default of putting half stroke inside path , half outside. know how given path / object, there way make default behavior don't have go through steps every time? thanks ...is there way make default behavior... i not aware of one. set simple graphic styles inside stroking , used stroke weights. make applying desired stroke characteristics one-click affair. however, since changing stroke alignment one-click thing, don't know how many steps save you. hi. use ubuntu 9.10. cant mount iso file. gisomount says "file selected not iso". image done myself long time ago in windows xp , game windows version.. made image in .nrg. used nrg2iso , converted iso. don't know error message. please help thanks! p.s. used this guide if made iso try this. [solved] problem running a servo and a motor on the same project

..i'm building flash website. in on of scenes making movie clip of animated buttons. have made set of 30 buttons reveal behinf theeir own seperate masks. , when click on each button takes frame new picture opens up. animation works flauwlessly when press play. when test movie , buttons open on specific scene animated buttons don't animate, open? need add 'play' action @ start of movie when total site reaches frame runs animation or should play animation when opens? i'm sure should work when opens.... i'm losing hair it's not clear you're trying describe. to start, mean by, "..when press play"? what's play? RX2 Macchinina RC con ritardo tra azioni elevato

salve tutti, qualche giorno fa ho modificato una macchinina rc avente all'interno un chip rx2, il mio intento era di telecomandarla con arduino tramite bluetooth, bypassando esclusivamente il ricevitore radio. le prime prove con tasti su breadboard funzionavano... poi ho deciso di installare un modulo bt.... ed il problema si presenta qui: quando premo il tasto di marcia (uno qualsiasi) o una direzione per lungo tempo e rilascio la macchina continua svolgere l'azione precedente come se il tasto fosse ancora premuto, poi dopo x tempo (determinato dal tempo di pressione del tasto) si ferma. in pratica premo un tasto per 5 secondi, lo rilascio e dopo altri 5 secondi la macchina si ferma, non riesco capire dove sta l'errore. avevo pensato ad una banda ristretta e quindi ho settato il modulo bt ad un baudrate superiore, ma nulla il problema persiste; ho provato pure da monitor seriale per vedere se fosse l'app sul cellulare il problema... ma invece no, spero che vo

HM 10 firmware upgrade

i have upgraded firmware in hm 10 module per instruction given in link https://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=393655.0 while uploading firmware first time, had terminate process using ctrl + c since there no progress in upload. second time, firmware upload successful the led on hm 10 module has become dim , not responding command. when tried re uploading firmware, says waiting respond arduino... no chip detected! upload failed! file closed! comport closed! can me out in identifying problem! stuck! Event only works once

can tell me how stop photoshop image channel turned off in photoshop turning on automatically in indesign? have several spot uv's on catalog cover not go away in indesign. print out proof myself without red channels unable to. ideas? have attached partial screen shot of indesign catalog cover in question. in advance! i think option temporary delete of channel(s) in ps. direct select tool option double-click ps file open it, delete channels>save>print id>undo ps history panel>save. want backup before doing this. Looking for cost effective arduino that supports good UART commucation

i need send text data on serial port using arduino uart. in simple project, send text data on tx line , receive same data on other end using rx pin. i trying using 1 arduino uno board has 1 hardware uart. seems uart shared usb. can not use hardware uart supported on pins 0 , 1. due limitation, started looking @ using software serial port. basic testing, planning on looping tx rx. learnt software serial port can not simulataneously transmit , receive data. so @ point seems can not use 1 arduinno uno. @ minimum need 2 arduino uno. still this, have use in software serial mode. can not use hardware serial mode shared usb. since need purchase second arduiino, know arduinio, should purchase. seems arduino, megas has more 1 serial port. better buy arduino mega? your feedback please thanks. considering arduino mega less $15 not sure why big angst.
