let me set scene- friend told me how install ubuntu onto usb flash drive , carry around own os in pocket. got home, ran ubuntu live cd, , when asked me wanted install it, selected 16gb flash drive. installed fine , re booted laptop. after normal asus screen flashed past, expected windows boot loader pop usual (long story short, didnt uninstall vista whenever booted wbl popped , asked 1 wanted run -even though ran win7 nomatter what) instead grub (grub 2 beta 4 memory) pops , gives me selection- ubuntu @ top, disk checkers in middle , windows 7 boot loader @ bottom. if select ubuntu, loads ubuntu usb. i pick win7 loader, then it runs boot loader usual. if there no usb in port, "grub rescue failed - drive not exist" (that not right). notes: after abomination on usb, decided still wanted ubuntu on actual computer. time ran installer in windows , worked fine. next part quite interesting. told before if select win 7 loader first grub, wbl (windows boot load

i have installed xp on thumbdrive very slow. slower running xp in vbox on ubuntu host pendrive. seems work ok "persistent", image install. looking smallest install, run vbox still have necessary drivers required plugging pendrive random pcs. don't need ooo etc. i have minimal ubuntu install lxde desktop. 1.5 gb. uninstalled did not want installed packages. light , fast. use else thinking seting machine run several distros in boxes , velieve use similar host. my ubuntu karma desktop plugged wired connection goes through router , cable modem. working fine had been several months yesterday morning. happened end of day has screwed wired networking. plugged laptop same cable thats plugged ubuntu, , cat5 cable live. when plug said cable ubuntu box, ethernet lights come on, or atleast solid green one. meanwhile network connections icon continues have red x , tooltip saying "no network connection". under network settings, there 1 wired network "auto eth0", says "last used: never" strange since i've been using months. when click edit main settings mtu automatic, ipv4 automatic dhcp, , ipv6 ignore. problem be? chance did karma update released broke networking well, nevermind. had tried unplugging , replugging, , couple reboots, im sitting here , starts working again out of no randomly stopped. anyway

i'm testing windows 7rc , adobe production premium cs4. both cs4 , windows updated updates available through today. premiere pro cs4 @ 4.1.0.   i have hundreds , hundreds of avi files captured tape , memory cards created capture process in adobe premiere pro 1.5.1.  if create new project, hdv 1080i (60i) , try import avi files error message 'file video dimensions (width/height) large'. these files created cineform hd codec came 1.5.1. have cfhd codec "cineform 10-bit-visually perfect hd" loaded on computer, , g-spot verifies , can render , play avi files. since these hdv actual dimensions 1440x1080. i've tried import standard def avi files same result.   i picked few random projects attempt open, , none of them open. not sd not hdv. hello everyone, for project neccessary change current direction inside circuit. i figured best using 4 transistors able switch each pole. therefor need control 2 transistor 1 pin, struggle on doing so. assuming valid data sheet transistor strukture ecb. i built test circuit try control 2 transistors @ once. the tansistors functional, because circuit works if take 1 of them out. why does'nt work? function of transistors did wrong? please see picture below. thanks hi, welcome forum. you need google  arduino  h-bridge. your circuit not reverse current. your led not work if reverse current through it, unless special 2 or 3 colour led. tom.... hello guys, i'm working project need little on it.  i'm looking suggestions , brainstorming. think have idea how work, need more info. there more 1 way achieve this, i'm in limbo land @ point not being able decide way go.  or maybe i'm wrong , can't achieve i'm going after. current project stepper run @ 66 rpm 1 minute.  other  things involved in project 7inch tft press "start test buttons" , "reset button".  button presses on tft will  cw start, ccw start, , reset.  there hall effect sensor display rpm make sure shaft running @ 66rpm. stepper needs throttle 66 rpm.  been looking @ accelstepper library.  have used accelstepper in past on other projects using steppers.  never used in type of application.    the hardware being used in project nema 34, 13.5nm stepper, ma860h microstep driver, 350 watt power supply stepper , , sainsmart hall effect sensor non latching speed readout on tft. arduino due. currently have done research on ht

tl;dr : if can point me working samd21 example of running 32 bit tc both external clock (gclkio) , externally trigged count captures (via eic/evsys), appreciated. seem able 1 of working @ time. hardware : board arduino m0 samd21g18 processor. datasheet (~ 17mb). external frequency (1k - 2mhz) generator on pa21 (m0 pin 7) , , 1 pps gps signal on pa17 (m0 pin 13). should apply arduino 0 well. the objective : i'm trying capture events on tc4/tc5 in 32 bit mode external clock on pa21. captures should triggered pa17. in principle don't care choice of pins , have tried moving around. the paradox : running tc4/5 on pa21 (arduino 7) via gclkio5 works fine cannot make capture via eic-events on pa17 (arduino 13). however, running tc on main clock (either via gclk5, or directly on gclk0) happily capture 1 pps pulses. only change made. please see complete (non-)working example below; changing boolean in top switches between clocks , result in behaviour described above. i'm

hola todos, llevo un tiempo con un problema que no se resolver. estoy conectando un nodemcu lolin v3 un nrf24l01+, para que se comunique, via radio, con un nano al que también le conecto un nrf24l0+. el tema es que si utilizo la libreria nr24-master, el nodemcu no me funciona, pero si utilizo la libreria nr24 si funciona. he leido que la libreria nr24-master es una versión mejorada de la nr24, y que es recomedable usarla, pero no se que puede pasar para que no funcione con el nodemcu. ya digo que con las mismas conexiones y el mismo programa (unos ejemplos que puso robin2 http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=421081 ), concretamente el ejemplo de swaping roles, si uso la libreria nr24 todo funciona correctamente. ha alguien más le ha pasado?, tenéis alguna idea de que puede estar pasando? jamas use esa librería. siempre uso tmrh20 y sus variantes sean network o mesh. tengo un bridge usando un nodemcu que intercambia datos como gateway y funciona perfect
