i installed ubuntu in dual-boot vista. upon starting ubuntu first time, received warning hard drive has many bad sectors (232 exact). had created separate partition in vista , created virtual partitions of space using ubuntu installer make swap , root partitions. device in question 320 gb 10 gb vista recovery, 120 gb ubuntu partition , remainder given vista. booting in vista, no warnings or messages, ubuntu recommends backing data , replacing drive. advice? you have reinstall , see if working second time. thing might have gone wrong in installation process. or help, im attaching link ubuntu installation manual. https://help.ubuntu.com/9.04/installation-guide/i386/ https://help.ubuntu.com/9.10/install...ide/index.html stick it. hit if there problem after install per manual. bonjour à tous je mesure l'humidité du sol. après calibration, la capteur me retourn 670  quand le sol est sec et 490 quand il est très très humide. j'utilise map() pour avoir ceci en % code: [select] val = map(val,670,490,0,100); donc la valeur base est 670 et la valeur haute est 490. logiquement quand le sol est humide, je devrais avoir 100% et quand il est sec je devraisavoir 0% (pour ma notion de valeur haute et basse). ce capteur fonctionne inversément... ) le problème avec ma fonction map, c'est quand il est humide, il m'affiche 100% mais plus le sol devient sec, plus mon pourcentage augmente au lieu de diminuer je me demande à quel niveau je dois corrigé ceci, si c'est au niveau de ma fonction map() j'avais deja essayé ceci code: [select] val = map(val,490,670,0,100); , mais j'ai une valeur proche du 0% quand mon sol est rès humide. qu'en pensez-vous à propo de map()? il faut écrire : code: [select] val = map(val, 49

a strange problem has cropped gnome on 9.10 amd64 system. seems fine until open folder of jpg images. window opens, starts filling in icons , poof disappears except desktop background. have restart x ctl-alt-backspace. happens every time. have used folder many times in past without problem. have proven caused presence of 2 large .jp2 images in folder. if use bash move 2 .jp2 image files /tmp, can display folder. guess what, problem moves /tmp. .jp2 images , can opened without problem gimp. used them on windows xp prior going 100% linux. files good. seems gnome/x crashes when trying render icon preview .jp2 files. i'm getting skipping frames in dynamic linked portions of project when render in pp cs4. when happens in ae cs4 go secret menu , make purge memory after 15 frames , solves issue. have purged memory in ae project, , have set purge every 10 frames. plugin i'm using keylight on 1 clip , ae motion blur on another. have 6gb of ram, , i'm on core i7,  vista x64 system. know fix issue? i've set pp cs4 optimize rendering memory, instead of performance, , done above in ae, , have set 1 large disk cache in ae, , deleted render preview files in both programs , still doesnt fix issue. pissing me off. if not 1 thing screwing up, else. how frames skip?  every 10 frames chance?   if so, undo secret ae menu setting.   if doesn't help, detailed outline of source video properties, ae comp settings , pr sequence settings help you.   -jeff More discussions in Premiere Pro CC adobe

bonjour tous, après une bonne heure de soudage, je test les switchs, et ....... ceux montés sur a6 et a7 de mon arduino nano ne marche pas. alors que tous les autres pas de problème, même câblage, même code. après vérification, de-soudage, test, j'en déduit que a6 et a7 ne sont pas configurable en pullup. pouvez me confirmer ? si c'est bien ça, comment être sur que le pin peuvent être pullup sur nano ou uno. merci je ne sais pas bien si je répond à la question. pour vérifier "électriquement" si une entrée est en "pullup", la configurer en "pinmode(ax, input_pullup)", puis la placer au niveau "high". connecter un multimètre entre cette entrée et le gnd. si le multimètre indique quelques volts, alors l'entrée présente bien une résistance de "pullup". si la tension reste autour de zéro, alors, il n'y pas de résistance de "pullup". cordialement. pierre

i have several 180-degree servos elegoo arduino kits, , go out of control when commanded with      myservo.write(0); they spin continuously until sent new command.  problem not occur sending 30, 90, 180 degrees, etc. the problem turns out default parameters in servo package not appropriate these servos.  fixed problem attaching them with      myservo.attach(3, 800, 2500); instead of default of      myservo.attach(3); the last 2 parameters set width of control pulses in microseconds.  default values, given in servo package documentation, 544 , 2400.  generic servo documentation says pulse widths should between 1000 , 2000 microseconds, 20 msec period.  using 1000 & 2000 in attach call works, results in less 180 degrees rotation.  adjusting minimum , maximum pulse widths lets control both range of motion , location of endpoints in standard servo.write(...) call.  the exact parameters vary manufacturer manufacturer, , possibly within individual devices, since control hardwar
