i scan pdf format documents deteriorating badly.  these documents printed on both sides , there lots of them.  stack of documents can placed in regular feeder scanner 1 side of documents scanned @ 1 time.  turn stack upside down , scan other side.  leave me grouping of odd pages pages of documents pdf, , grouping of pages.  how rearrange/merge pages appear normal sequence of odd-even in pdf? thanks. adobe acrobat you.   from acrobat help:   you can scan both sides of pages on scanners not support two-sided scanning. when both sides selected, dialog box appears after first sides scanned. can reverse original paper documents in tray, select scan reverse side (put reverse of sheets) option in dialog box, , click ok scan sides of paper pages. produces pdf pages in proper sequence. i have captivate demo needs split @ point user's input determine of 2 paths demo take.  created 2 buttons on slide demo fork, 1 each possible user option.   if user clicks first button, demo continues next slide, first of path a.  when demo gets last slide of path jumps last slide of demo, end slate.   if user clicks second button, demo skips 30 slides (path a) , jumps first slide of path b.  last slide of path b mentioned end slate, path continues through end.  thus, order of slides this:   open slate -> user input (a or b) -> path -> path b -> end slate   the problem when demo runs, if choose path b, slides path still in timeline though skipped them.  can see marker in timeline jump ahead, skipping earlier content.  @ point, if user clicks backward review previous slides, or way slides path a, confusing.  there way engineer once user chooses path, other eliminated timeline?   i considered making 3 demos, 1 each path , 1 open slate/user input slide.  figured have each

i've gotten arduino's, , wanted make lights in house controlled them (so can respond motion or timers, or whatever). however, i'd require solution meet following conditions: i should able turn on or off light using physical switch, independent of state arduino puts light in. the physical switch should work if arduino crashes/malfunctions/whatever. the final setup should professional , function intuitively. my ideal solution following. have normal looking (and purely mechanical) light switch has on/off/auto states (auto centered). when switch in on or off position, light on or off accordingly. when it's in auto, state determined state of relay controlled arduino. unfortunately, haven't been able find commercially available switch this, , without 1 don't know way create set-up. every other solution can think of less good. here two: 1. have 2 normal light switches: if first 1 on light controlled arduino; otherwise light controlled second switch. typically

im making portfolio in indesign filled quite lot of illustrator files (vector) hope email around. its 70page pdf reduce 18mb after using 'reduce file size' in acrobat. im trying down smaller around 10 - 15mb. i found out 1 illustrator file takes (7mb) of file (found out deleting pages , seeing file size). this ai file quite complex quite lot of nodes. i've tried path simplifying complex shapes within file , flatten transparency other objects reducing 35mb 7mb. however, pdf indesign still ends same size. 1 ai file causing problem , page takes longest load.   any advice on simplifying ai file? is there function ps 'flatten image'? (it seems there still layers in file, when loading in adobe reader, different layers appear first). ideally, leave vector file can zoom in in reader. if not, whats best method of saving image , placing in indesign. did try?:   open problematic ai file in illustrator. save pdf, using smallest file size preset. in acrobat use document>ins

hi. i'm doing iot project company. and considering using mkr fox 1200 board inspiration. it has 48pin samd21g mcu on it. however our project might benefit increased pins in samd21j version. how feasible able use arduino ide. i have problem samba , network harddrives. server have ubuntu server installed, , desktop has karmic koala. use cifs when mounting harddrives server desktop. charsets seem messed up. seems fine when check files on server using smb:// desktop computer or directly server using ls. when mounted cifs, chars not correctly displayed. both machines have utf8 when check $lang, , files contain characters iso-8859-1. when create files using mounted drive, there invalid encoding when viewing ssh or smb://. problem? mounting incorrect working fine smb , on server? how fix can mount hdd , still create , view characters charset iso-8859-1? also, when checking file names windows system, seem alright. not media streamer (popcorn hour a-100). oh, , there danger viewing or editing files mounted drive corrupt files? thanks!
