if haven't noticed template, if go home page of notice main menu , top menu same. reason rt novus uses main menu in both places. so don't panic if trying change top menu in menu list , nothing changing / updating. if want change top menu need goto menu - mainmenu , update menu through here, since topmenu not being reported. i recommend going module - site modules - , unpublishing topmenu module. had few instance of place menu showing @ bottom of page in random areas. i haven't had time hack job fix website fix this, left now. if have fix please let me know. [ubuntu 8.04 'hardy heron'] hello people, i'm posting again, time i've been trying since yesterday share internet connection laptop has ms windows xp installed in via ethernet. ubuntu machine connects through ppp interface. summary of networking devices: ppp0 (ppp interface) eth0 (lan adapter, connected laptop) eth1 (lan adapter, connected ppp modem/router) i've been able manage through dhcp server , laptop gets ip configured it: 10.0.0.1 (this computer, default gateway laptop) 10.0.0.250 (the laptop gets ip when connects, not sure if should happen, everytime connects never changes. however, in range of firestarter dhcp settings should ok) after connects. i've tried navigate on internet theres no response web. i've tried #ping <ip> on ms win cmd , ping packets sent , theres response them. don't got whats wrong. there's need help. thing, connection windows machine shows packets sent none received (the

i have tried couple different seo extensions joomla site now, , can't 1 work well.  site large, mosets tree directory thousands of pages.  tried use sh404, keep running errors , problems links not working, or fatal cache errors.  have sh404 disabled.  installed joomseo, says on admin page wouldn't work pages generated in component (such mosets tree) , works in joomla static pages, guess extension won't work either.  without seo extension, can't seem meta tags stick.  create metadescription , keywords in backend of joomla (on meta info tab on right side of screen), when go view page, doesn't reflect changes.  pages seem use default home page meta info.  so, have 2 questions: 1) how meta tags save , show on pages (when view source code in browser)? 2) there joomla extension out there can handle such large site mosets tree?  don't care url's, concerned meta tags (title, description, keywords).  i'm shamelessly keeping 1 alive.  c'mon guys.  metatags o

hey all. i tried searching around, couldn't quite find i'm looking for, hasn't been posted. i'm looking image extension simple image gallery (sig) and/or smoothgallery + lightbox joomla mambot ajax . these seem cool, , nothing more use them, want able select single image file instead of entire directory. the smoothgallery mambot above claims able this, seems broken (at least extent) @ moment, while sig need modified seems. i've thought creating several directories containing 1 file each sort of workaround "gallery" part of sig still retain gallery function, seems...clunky. so question is, suggest extension can like? tyia! hola amigos, para uno de mis proyectos necesito comunicar dos arduinos por el puerto serie, "hasta ahi todo normal", el problema viene porque el unico cable que va de un punto otro de la instalacion es una alimentacion de un equipo 12v ac, y no es posible meter otro cable o modificar nada de la instalacion, por radio, bluetooth, wifi, etc., tampoco seria posible ya que lo intentado y hay demasiadas interferencias y apenas llega comunicar algo. ya buscado en google y demas, pero no encunetro nada, seria como los que venden para hacer una red ethernet en la casa traves de los enchufes pero para una corriente de 12v ac. si alguien sabe que dispositivo puedo usar o por lo menos orientarme en el tema os lo agradezco enormemente, llevo como una semana mirando y no encuentro nada. gracias, un saludo. puedes especificar que modelo de arduino usas? we trying create incopy cs3 package indesign cs4 file (pc). can create package still shows assignments live , editable little package icon well. if open *.indd on different pc running cs4, checked out normal. rebooted first pc, opened same *.indd file , shows package editable. i've been scratching head. won't work in *.indd file until incopy package returned, have never seen in of other packages we've created. any ideas? sharon More discussions in InCopy adobe

hi, i've downloaded most, if not all, extensions can making horizontal menus. while work fine in joomla 1.0x, don't seem work version 1.5. must downgrade 1.5 current version 1.0.13 or there way of making horizontal menus using existing menus. need user wrapper menus. thanx hello, i'm looking same thing - way make horizontal menu's.  could u please post extensions have tried here? thank Board index Joomla!
