i'm using wlan , i'm behind nat firewall. downloading bittorrent can reach speeds of 1,5mb/s, browsing incredibly slow. chromium/firefox seems hang forever on "connecting.." or "waiting for". pressing reload button speed up. have 2 ubuntu boxes , same way. don't it, if downloading fast, how can browsing slow. yes have disabled ipv6 in grub , in firefox, don't know how in chromium. have 64-bit ubuntu. cnet wlan card using rt61pci module. i have similar (maybe same) issue. browsing slower in ubuntu in guest os (vbox) of windows 7, both 64-bit. doesn't make sense me. i've tried speed tests , both give outrageous speeds (~30mbit), real-time browsing slower in linux in windows. hello,   i'm new captivate , still figuring out situations might easier use rather building in flash. can see quizzes, screen-casts , scenarios obvious places. i've been looking @ first 2 ' site of day' examples in adobe captivate showcase (the campus tours of ai philadelphia , berklee college of music) , can't see how have used captivate produce them.   the examples both nice promotional presentations universities , great - nice internal popups videos, images etc. understand build widgets provide these kind of features don't understand benefit of importing these in captivate rather building in flash.  missing obvious?  people use captivate storyboarding , move flash?   any advise appreciated. love captivate far not sure how put use effectively. back in day, did hiking/camping. hiked 100 miles of appalachian trail , via hurricane island outward bound school . several years ago, acquired hiking pack, tent, backpacking stove, , few other things (that have find again). still need buy sleeping bag, water filter, hiking cook-set, , other stuff have tagged on amazon wish list. nothing expensive really. found old gps years ago (magellan meridian platinum). (thought dead, still works    ) my thinking is, regulating diet, have lost few pounds, @ least under 300 pounds (not ). need more active hobby burn off pounds. can integrate of hobbies, photography, , possible astronomy, if trail safe enough not have worry falling , crushing camera or telescope. though telescope may not practical, hiking... i switched laptop windows pc windows-linux dual boot. these 2 os's use 4 of primary partitions: on windows have 4.4 gb restore partition can used restore pc initial shipping state. have 28 gb primary windows partition. on ubuntu have 1.8 gb swap drive , 28 gb ext3 drive else. when configured dual boot intentionally left 30gb dik space unclaimed figuring if liked ubuntu i'd assign ubuntu otherwise give windows. know love ubuntu i'm running out of storage on disk. can't delete windows partition because need few programs don't run on linux. i'd expand ext3 partition take 30gb unclaimed. however, don't see easy way this. when go create partition gparted tells me can't have more 4 primary partitions on drive, need extended partition. unfortunately, extended partition primary partition have delete existing partition work. question is: isn't there way can extend ubuntu partition take advantage of 30gb unallocated

on front page under home have 3 items showing @ bottom there link more.  when edit home under main menu see spot choose number of columns not select number of rows.  i'm trying accomplish make bottom of page never ending until decide archive @ end of each month.  how can setup page continue on down? thanks, gall you won't see number of rows, per se...however, there setting can choose how many articles (intro text) appear on front page. not knowing how many articles might have in month, there no specific number can come with. can figure out go, though. if articles written in "intro text" of content editor...set number of these articles high want , should display on frontpage. hth! http://help.joomla.org/content/view/454/68/1/1/ chad Board index Joomla! hi: if not wrong, think joomla missing legal/privacy or terms module.  cms have kind of thing when user register, must specify if accept or reject terms. i think stuff if important cms , franky surprised joomla 1.5 dont have it. later as far know feature added joomla later. otherwise, community builder has feature.
