i installed karmic on 2 computers. before this, running jaunty - rocked. did clean install. plug in ipod. ubuntu recognizes ipod , pops window allowing me open in rhythmbox. when rhythmbox opens, ipod listed on left side - there no songs listed. did experiment: reformatted ipod. when plug in, asks me initialize ipod - do. open in rhythmbox , add songs. songs transfer. unmount ipod , try in other computer. other computer asks me initialize ipod. then, rhythmbox shows ipod - no songs. take first computer - , against i'm asked initialize - , again there no songs listed though ipod shows there songs on device. has ubuntu taken step backwards in ipod support? there can besides reload jaunty? which ipod?... i have been running ubuntu 9.10 on dell inspiron 6400 short while not without issues working quite well. had second monitor set extended desktop , seemed work well. second monitor has different resolution notebook monitor not problem. had positioned above notebook monitor. when second monitor unplugged worked fine , display reverted single screen (rather extended desktop). first problem came 1 time when plugged in external monitor notebook still running. problem wasn't @ point plugged in rather when went system | preferences | display , activated second monitor. both monitors went black , spinning clock seen half on each black screen computer frozen , had cold booted. tried playing around various scenarios in display configuration point way can activate second monitor if 2 monitors mirrored (and of course running same resolution). mirroring displays of no value me. btw if second monitor plugged in when boot laptop both screens display ubuntu

vista上でmaster collection cs4を使用しているのですが、先日パソコンを初期化したため再インストールをしました。 その後自動アップデートを使用して更新をダウンロードしたのですが、 adobe device central cs4向け　flash lite3.1のアップデートだけが、ファイルをダウンロードできませんと言われ更新できません。 そのほかの更新は正常にインストールできます。 サイトから直接ダウンロードすればインストールはできるのですが、再度自動アップデートを行うとそのアップデートが残っている状態で、 何度やってもダウンロードできませんと言われます。 macも使用しているのですが、macでも同様の現象になりました。 同じ症状の方、解決策をご存じの方はいらっしゃいますか？ ちなみに、前までは問題なかったように思います。ほんとについ最近起きる現象のようです。 よろしくお願いします。 あくまでもmacの場合に限ります。 macos10.5.7までアップデートされている場合のような感じがします。 osx10.5.7自信が様々なバグを内包しています。 この件についてはmacも自社ソフトに弊害がないからということで、現在はほったらからし状態です。 記載のadobeの自動アップデートはもちろんダメなのですが、アップデートのサイトからの手動アップデートは可能です。 手動アップデートの後に、macのアクセス権の修復が済めば、その後の自動アップデートでも「現在、利用可能なアップデートはありません」と なります。 とりあえずは精神的に良くない状態です。 macos10.5.7に起因していると思われます。 Web Archives (Japan) でのその他のディスカッション adobe
