Motor current

i in process of making remote controlled lawn mower. cutter, purchased 1 of these 775 dc motors, work between 12-36v. idea being attach strimmer wire , use cutter.

however, in simple tests, bit of strimmer wire attached motor. @ ~6v, drawing 6 amps! , without load, comes contact grass, goes higher, 10-15 amps.

having draw current isn't going work power supply planned on using, 12v 10ah cyclic lead acid battery. last 10 minutes.

so question ... going case 12v high rpm motors? can better?

as why used 6v, because rpm scary high @ point, dare'nt go higher

775 motor

that big motor , need high power motor if mean cut real grass. honest not surprised if discover need more powerful motor.

the link gave mentions 0.16 amps. wonder if typo 16 amps?

i expect motor of size take large current correct conclude 10ah battery not suitable.
