granted computer isn't best, absolutely horrible fps in wine. runs smoothly under windows. when horrible fps mean maybe 0.5 fps, unplayable. have advice me here? edit: clarification: problems occur when i'm in space. menus work fine , 3d graphics in character creator work smoothly. alright played around settings while. disabled shadows , causes run smoothly, strange because shadows don't affect under windows. haven't played yet, after playing 15 minutes game crashed generic windows error. haven't seen similar on appdb entry, i'll try running terminal later can see error messages... i have decided try distribution , downloaded , installed 64 bit ubuntu 9.10 , having weirdness/problems it. first off standalone linux machine keep single distribution on. had slackware 64 bit on in when put ubuntu cd in drive , rebooted start install process. selected language , on, when checked disks didn't find other distribution on (i found weird) not big deal though because main drive (/dev/sda on slackware) repartitioned , formatted. go disk partitioning select 1 make custom partitions , when shows disks getting weird disk 1 (/dev/sda) showing nvidia_randomcharacters() , disk 2 showing /dev/sdb (as should). go through first disk , delete partitions (partitions showed not mount point believe normal) , go making partitions install though naming convention drives messed up. goes on asking name , password , computer name sharing once set , on, right before finishes tells me grub didn't installed (scratches head because of drive naming convention possibly i

i have several flash based lessons have created being distributed online several companies.   each lesson has video played within lesson through flvplayback control. videos supplied third party , of videos encoded @ 384k , @ 568k.   one company attempting view lessons seeing following behavior. video plays approximately 20 seconds video drops out , audio continues play. audio still playing video scrubber rolls , attempts start video again comes through audio track again. there 2 instances of audio playing no video. happens third time , keeps going until audio played out.   the staff @ company has showed me fiddler log shows flash player making connection out akamai retrieve video , rolling port 80 port 1935 , port 443. explain 3 audio tracks playing   i have read flash player attempt gather stream stated rtmp location , if encounters issue proxy or firewall attempt other ports.   so not sure if there can design or programatically alleviate issue. appears me company attempting view vide

hi,   i'm keying out green screen using keylight. when @ view "status" in keylight notice strange result can't seem resolve. inside solid area of matte (the actor) pants , shoes area filled tiny light green dots. seem causing distortion on final render.   no matter adjustments make matte can't seem rid of these. i've attached few small gifs show issue.   is there anyway remove these dots "solid" within matte or way color correct them inside solid area of matte in final result?   any advise appreciated.   regards, that's despot options in screen matte section for. alternative options include minimax , simple chocker or third-party plug-ins re:fill revisionfx . make use of various rollback options control alpha levels.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

i released acrobat form use rma report. part of procedure involves attaching pictures each report. technician did right somehow saved pictures each document without .jpg file extensions. can see each attachment can't view them. in addition original photos have been deleted camera , not saved in location. can me files , add .jpg file extension???? have tried attachment options think of in acrobat have had no success. save attachment pc, add file extension there , re attach it. about week ago installed 9.10 onto laptop, dual-booting windows 7. shrinked windows 7 partition 500gb 490gb. out of 10gb, 2gb went swap. had set windows partition automatically mounted every single time ubuntu started up, didn't need manually mount it. ubuntu worked wonderfully until now. 2 days ago, checked free space in ubuntu partition out of curiosity , showed 4gb of free space. today, however, got error message warning me had 40mb of space left. 10 minutes , reboot later, 10mb. it's @ 0. did absolutely nothing, except write couple text files, download couple images, , compile couple .out files. did access files stored in windows partition. however, cannot see space going. can't run kdirstat because of lack of free space. seems literally disappearing. sudo apt-get clean Forum The Ubuntu Forum Community Ubuntu Official Flavours Support
