Thread: Facebook Chat on Empathy not working :(

so , facebook allowed facebook chat using jabber ,
trying configure , have run problems

heres have got:

username : jman6495@chat.facebook.com (i have tried jman6495)
password : facebook password
enabled : yeah

advanced :

encryption reguired (ssl/tls) :no
ignore ssl certificate errors : no
resource : (nothing)
priority : 0

override server settings

server : chat.facebook.com
port:5222
use old ssl : no

, either :

authentication failed username jman6495@chat.facebook.com
or network error username jman6495


have configured jman6495 username in facebook

it works easiest if make new google talk account.

'enabled' should ticked.

empathy connected straight away using me.

found send not receive messages added jabber account (reuse existing) same above , connected properly, removed google talk account , works now.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
