Newbie needs some help

hi -

 

what have artwork customer in pdf format.  taking artwork, converting jpeg, bringing cad software (solidworks/photoworks) decal, , overlaying artwork onto finished design.  problem imported artwork has "white background" lack of better term, behind colors.  background hides stuff directly behind decal.

 

the artwork has outline of part printed on, remove.  in illustrator, artwork , outline of part come software single object (i hope correct terminology)

 

is there way remove white background , outline , have artwork left (colors) , export jpeg?  i'd post artwork i'm not sure customer approve though released product.

 

any appreciated.  thanks

jpeg can not support transparency. that's white background.  don't know solidworks, can't place .pdf?

 

as far removing part of art, once file has been saved pdf, it's hard say, should able use direct selection tool (the white arrow) select parts of group or compound shape (i'm not sure you're looking at) , delete them.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
