Thread: broken synaptic package manager please help

yesterday computer lost power while installing sun virtualbox , when turned on had virtualbox in applications tab under system tools wouldnt launch gave me error , told me reinstall virtualbox went package downloaded , launched when clicked install said please close other package programs first , didnt have open rebooted try , close them way when logged in did same thing , tried launching synaptic package manager , gave me error

e: dpkg inturupted must manualy run sudo dpkg --configure-a corect problem
e: _catche->open() failed, please report.

tried running sudu dpkg said didnt other bring avalible commands dpkg , had no idea

anyway need know how package manager running again after can fix rest myself if possible can kept simple possible or step step instructions because have been useing ubuntu 2-3weeks

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
