Thread: error 17 from USB drive

i installed hardy on hard drive via usb...

after solving error 21 problem here am...

booted fine on linux laptop. brought drive on windows xp desktop. select 1 time boot menu , select boot usb drive.

grub menu , after selecting os on there...
"error 17: unable mount selected partition"

little background info...
convinced friend try ubuntu because computer crashed wouldn't boot. believed virus. didn't want spend 100+ dollars on os or buy new hardrive/ computer... said "let me take drive home. i'll try , save files on drive , install os."

put files wanted save on desktop of windows computer. wiped drive , installed hardy on it.

can me solve error 17?

will suggest better forum question?

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
