Port greyed out under Linux

my issue similar 1 discussed in http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=27666.0 different.
when plug usbasp usb port on fedora 19 machine running off gigabyte a75 motherboard amd a6-3670 apu, see lsusb:

the last 1 being usbasp's entry. when run dmesg|tail shows:

so presume device recognized , ready used, port menu item still greyed out no matter how run ide: regular user or root (under "sudo" or "su -" not matter). not matter whether insert board port on motherboard or usb hub, , not matter port.

what doing wrong?

i don't think usb serial device there never serial port. try changing programmer: option usbasp. have no idea how use device guessing hooks iscp port, not  uart port.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
