Thread: error 15 solutions not working

hi there!
please can me?! did stupid thing few days ago when trying garmin work in ubuntu 9.10 , installed called qt , uninstalled libusb-0.1-4 , installed newer version, thought. after that, pc wouldn't shut down using menu, used power button gave me choice of restart or shut down shut down way. in morning, got error 15 file not found on boot - grub menu - , have tried suggested on ubuntu forums , elsewhere , nothing works! oh, after uninstalling , installing libusb, half system administration menu items disappeared noticed, before shutting down. have dual boot system windows vista , ubuntu installed on external usb drive have feeling error uninstalling of libusb package. have tried installing again no results. root (hd1,5). have done process results.txt file have that.
please help, work computer , thank goodness can still boot windows using grub menu can still work a) hate windows , b) didn't evolution mail before crash can't function well.

without knowing went wrong suggest following.

1. boot live cd , backup home folder somewhere (this shouldn't necessary, backups good).
2. install ubuntu on same hard drive old system without reformatting hard drive (this should make ubuntu keep home folder).

although loose programs quick way working system back, , mails , settings should safe long keep backup of home folder.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
