Using XML files to store user profiles instead database tables - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hello there... having trouble disabling acl in joomla, doing because causes problems while login xml files.
i've doing because customer ask (security issues, don't trust database). however, registration process working expected, starting session gives message "please login or register view or modify profile.".
i found because $my->id null, when set correctly before. in components/com_comprofiler/comprofiler.php line 262: userprofile($option, $my->id, _ue_update);
it seems value gone because alternating database code whit xml handling code, , acl looks in database, process fails.
maybe in wrong approach, suggestion save/load user profiles using xml files whit joomla , community builder appreciated.
i using:
apache version : 2.2.6 php version : 5.2.5, mysql version : 5.0.45, joomla 1.0.13, cb 1.1 on winbox.
