flash newbie - good intro lessons etc

hi all,

very new flash (not web programming though).

 

i volunteered work on small project (at least hope it's small).

 

i need create form can upload poker game played, , animate poker hand show game being played.

 

so think need know, how flash read form field (either html form or flash form, ever easier) , how take image , move around on screen. example, if player uploads poker hand, need make cards player used appear in hand, or make chips appear in hand if won bet, or place chips on center of table if placed bet.

 

can suggest place start learning how this? dont care if it's action script 2 or 3 - assume learning 3 better since thats newest dont care.

 

and clear, dont need make game, i'm making movie show game played info hands played submitted via form.

that not sound newbie project.

 

but start wouldn't hard.  can create form in flash adding input textfields stage.  think you'll want add 5 or more (one each card in player's hand).

 

you can add button stage player click when they've entered data cards.  fun begins.
