Reading metadata with exiftool

ok, let's bounce 1 around , see if has elegant solution!

 

i'd read metadata in images/sidecars, lr doesn't display, , put information custom fields. while great have direct access - ie sdk should let read xmp data files or additional_metadata sql table - in in absence using exiftool extract information. hit roadblock lrtasks can send correct command line, lrtasks.execute returns 0 or 1, os exit message, , not exiftool string.

 

so i'm forced @ alternatives. 1 make exiftool generate temporary file, , attempt read that. other ideas - or support above feature request ?

john - you're asking has been on to-do list long time. had exact same problem - needing read stdout of external app - , code expected write going describe writing temp file reading it. haven't gotten around coding yet. support feature request.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
