Thread: GnoMenu issues

hello, have undergone renovations of in ubuntu. i've added beryl themes emerald theme manager, added folder styles , control styles appearance , have discovered can change gnomenu (as learned called). i've downloaded zips liked www.gnome-look.org , extract cannot figure out how apply or choose different themes gnomenu.

have done far.
installation on ubuntu:

save gnomenu file desktop (gnomenu)

https://launchpad.net/gnomenu/trunk/2.2

once it's downloaded, right-click file , choose 'extract here'.

next need make sure correct dependencies installed, open terminal (applications >> accessories >> terminal) , type in :

sudo apt-get install python python-xdg python-cairo python-gconf python-xlib deskbar-applet

next, in terminal need change in directory extracted earlier. type in:

cd ~/desktop/gnomenu

type:

sudo make install

problem don't understand, "this install gnomenu, comes themes installed default. once done, you'll able right-click on panel , select 'add panel'. select gnomenu list, it'll add icon panel, right-click icon , choose 'preferences'. there you'll able install menu themes you've downloaded , download others internet."

on 'add panel' should see program gnomenu? because don't have one.

ideas on i'm doing wrong or if there else should doing?
