Thread: hard disk temperature problem

i have lenovo g550 laptop 320gb western digital hard drive ,i dual boot between ubuntu 9.10 , vista.in vista hard drive seems stays cooler if there lot of disk usage in ubuntu hard disk gets hotter if idle. average temperature of hard disk in vista stays around 44 deg c , ubuntu averages around 51 deg c.is there way keep drive cooler in ubuntu.

how case fan(s)? doubt hard drive generating different amount of heat, fan control seems issue windows , linux have different capabilities , different results. maybe can lower threshold and/or enable case fans come on sooner.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
