Thread: caps lock blinking crash with madwifi.

hi,
have atheros ar5008x mini pci express card in dell studio 1535 laptop..am running ubuntu 8.10..

blacklisted ath9k driver , compiled n installed madwifi svn trunk...

getting error in

code:
/var/log/syslog   wifi0: ath_fatal_tasklet: hardware error; resetting.
anyone got idea above error??
wireless internet connection works fine amidst above error..

when try put card in monitor mode below steps:

code:
$sudo ifconfig ath0 down    $sudo wlanconfig ath0 destroy    $sudo wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode monitor
the output came "ath0"

checked mode using iwconfig command..it showed "monitor"

code:
$sudo ifconfig ath0 up
after few seconds caps lock led started blinking , ubuntu crashed..

repeated steps after rebooting , ended in same crash..

when tried put in "sta"(station) mode using wlanconfig didnt face crash..

want know whether crash due

1) ubuntu 8.10
2) madwifi driver
3) atheros ar5008x hardware

solved issue uninstallin madwifi latest svn version , installin "madwifi-hal-testing"..

no crash, no capslock blinking..monitor mode works fine..no errors in /var/log/syslog....

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
