hello.
beginner in linux please regarding problem.
want install libsdl-sound through synaptic , there says "libsdl-sound1.2-dev:
depends: libvorbis-dev not going installed". same happend when want install liballog.dev". downloaded required *.deb package (libvorbis-dev) dont want install. says: error: dependency not satisfiable: libvorbis0a (= 1.2.3-3) through package installer. messing me whole day!
can help?

looked in synaptic (ubuntu 9.10), using search-term 'libsdl-sound', , there libsdl-sound1.2 (i had dependencies, not libsdl-sound1.2 itself.)

dependencies libsdl-sound1.2 'greyed', me, meaning installed on box. hit apply in menu, installed libsdl-sound1.2, , there no problems.

should not try install dependencies yourself. select package; looks dependencies, shows list of needs: dependencies on box greyed-out, , ignore them. if needs install dependencies, shows these in bold ... don't - click mark button, , synaptic gets them you.

let me know how goes ... or other issues?

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
