Thread: wine and hl2 mods

hi! wanted install source mods. i've tried .exe installer , zip archive. mods in correct directory both times. didn't appeared in steam games list panel. question how can them appear in list?

(i've searched , found howtos, when unpacking zip or installing exe game should have been appeared in games list when installing steam itself.)

(i'm using wine 1.0.1. installed steam , games pol.)

first off - upgrade wine version. latest beta 1.1.38 of posting this. source games run better under beta version "stable"

second - installing source mods in same bottle/cellar/whatpolcalls wine prefixes steam installed in? if restarting steam (as on windows) should cause mods installed appear in steam games list. i've done both vanilla wine , crossover , works fine in both cases.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
