Thread: basic system imaging software

i looking basic system imaging software

trying image computer running xubuntu 9.10 , save image file flash drive

drive 120gb big, used space on 10 gb @ most.

want make image of used space can clone other computers..

have tried many different ways of doing , far ive had no luck

tried use partimage, when boot using live cd , install partimage run it, tells me partition size 120gb (basically tells me drive full, when not) find weird because partimage advertises thing can save used space.

have tried g4l (ghost linux) same thing well.

need make image of used space on computer , save it, preferrably iso file or something, can proprietary format, dont care, @ point ill take anything.

guys can provide

have tried clonezilla? includes used space in image. it's popular , has worked great me.
